I led a multi-year investigation into the Bureau of Land Management's Adoption Incentive Program, uncovering a pipeline to slaughter for hundreds if not thousands of federally protected wild horses and burros as well as fraud and abuse of the taxpayer-funded program. My work led to a front-page 2021 New York Times Exposé.
